The Normandy School District is partnering with the St. Louis County Department of Health to help families, children and staff prepare for the return of the H1N1 flu this fall. Normandy is taking precautionary steps to protect the health of students and staff and limit the spread of flu.
With the potential for the H1N1 flu to return to schools this fall, it is important for schools and families to take steps now to help in the prevention of the spread of the flu. The district is installing new hand sanitizer dispensers in all classrooms and is taking extra precautions to thoroughly clean surfaces such as desks, cafeteria tables, door knobs and keyboards on a regular basis.
