Members of the Click it Crew were recently recognized by sponsor Anjanette Clark (r) and Michelle Mitchell (l) of BJC Children`s Hospital.

A group of students from Normandy High School have been announced as the winners of the Click it Crew - Seat Belt Safety competition.  Sponsored by BJC Children's Hospital, the competition was held during the 2008-09 school year.

Seniors Ebony Young, Denesha Jones, Shawnese Ringo and Janelle Buckner, along with junior Johnita Brown, were recognized at a recent Board of Education meeting for their efforts in creating the winning campaign. The students created a safety rap and produced a video that was shown on You Tube, and BJC is launching a safety campaign which will include the students' productions in their public service announcements.  The students also conducted seat belt safety checks on the parking lot of Normandy High School.

The Click it Crew program brings seat belt safety education to the classroom to teach ninth through 12th graders the importance of buckling up before they drive or ride in a car.
